Qualifications

• College Level Teaching Experience required.
• Master's degree in criminal justice or equivalent with 18 graduate hours.
• Alternative: 15 years law enforcement/courts/corrections experience with Master's in any field.
• JD with 5 years criminal law experience.

• Teach courses as assigned, including evenings and weekends as well as online and dual enrollment courses.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Faculty members' responsibilities shall be teaching courses as assigned, assessments Faculty may be required to teach evenings and weekends as well as online and dual enrollment courses.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education

• Master's degree in criminal justice or master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in criminal justice;
• or master's degree in any field with a minimum of 15 years practical work experience in law enforcement, courts or corrections
• or a Juris Doctorate with 5 years of experience in criminal law.

Preferred Experience

• College Level Teaching Experience

Passing pre-employment criminal background screen is required as a condition of employment.
