The contracted Adjunct Instructor position is responsible for teaching, lecturing, and supervising the monthly online academic course(s) related to meeting the standards of the State Substance Use Disorder and/or Medi-CAL Peer Support Certification programs during the designated term. This is a contracted appointment and is contingent upon sufficient student enrollment per online course(s).
Master's degree or higher in a health-related discipline such as psychology, social welfare, public health, nursing, sociology, etc. Previous in-person and/or online teaching experience and/or work experience in behavioral health services preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Spanish speaking strongly encouraged.
