Job summary

The College of St. Scholastica's Physical Therapy Department is seeking adjunct faculty to expand our Patient-Client Management courses. In this role you will provide clinical instruction to DPT students working in pro bono clinics and mentor them to develop safe and effective patient care.

The successful candidate will observe and assess student performance, contribute to evaluations, and support a respectful, inclusive learning environment for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed PT in Minnesota.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Experience observing, assessing, educating and guiding student evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction to DPT students in pro bono clinics.
• Mentor students and ensure safety.

Job description

Rate or rates of pay: $1,020 per credit for undergraduate courses; $1,112 per credit for undergraduate courses after 40 credits are taught within a five-year period; $1,352 per credit for graduate courses. Any future updates to per credit rates of pay will be reflected within the electronic contract.

Job Summary

The CSS Physical Therapy Department is looking to increase the number of adjunct faculty in our Patient-Client Management courses. Adjunct faculty selected for this position will provide clinical instruction to DPT students managing patients in the pro bono clinics. Adjunct faculty will provide mentoring to students, ensure safety, and assess student performance related to patient management and professional behavior.

Required Qualifications

Must be a licensed PT in the state of Minnesota. The preferred faculty will have excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills. They will be responsible for observing, assessing, educating and guiding student evaluations and treatments. Patience and flexibility are required. The successful candidate will have demonstrated multicultural competency and experience interacting effectively with diverse constituents.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a Clinical Instructor and strong clinical decision-making skills are desired.
