Job summary

The Texas A&M University System seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach CID City Planning in a fully online competency-based education (CBE) format. Courses are offered on a term-by-term basis, focusing on student mastery of competencies.

Responsibilities include teaching three semester credit hours per 7-week term, responding to student inquiries within 24 hours, and grading per the provided syllabus. Master’s degree with 18 grad hours or a terminal degree is required; online teaching

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the field is required to teach undergraduate courses OR a terminal degree in the field of study or closely related is required to teach graduate courses.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others; work with minimal supervision.

SUMMARY:

Adjunct Faculty refers to an educator hired to teach on a course by course basis throughout an academic year.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
