The Department of Health Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences at American University invites applications for a number of adjunct faculty positions for upcoming Academic Years. Rank will depend on an applicant's highest degree earned in Health Studies or a related field. The applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

The Department of Health Studies offers both undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The Department is organized under the College of Arts and Sciences, which is where scholarship in the Arts, Humanities, and Sciences is pursued. Salary ranges

• Candidates Without a Terminal Degree In Course Subject Area 1-2 Credit Course: $2,865
• 3-4 Credit Course: $4,725
• 5-6 Credit Course: $4,938
• Candidates With a Terminal Degree In Course Subject Area 1-2 Credit Course: $3,414
• 3-4 Credit Course: $5,400
• 5-6 Credit Course: $5,548
