Position Summary

Wingate University is seeking applicants to fill several part‑time, adjunct teaching positions in the Biology discipline. These part‑time positions will primarily teach in‑person classes on our main campus, unless otherwise specified.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in the Biology discipline.
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance on campus for in‑person classes.
• Align instruction with the university’s mission, vision, and strategic roadmap.
• Perform other job duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Master’s degree or higher in a related discipline.
• College teaching experience.
• Experience with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas) and content development tools such as Zoom, Snagit, Camtasia, and other e‑learning tools is preferred.
