Adjunct Faculty, Basic Police Academy Instructor (SLEA) - 2025

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Adjunct Faculty at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning, instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, and may teach in various formats such as face-to-face, online, hybrid, or blended. Responsibilities also include student evaluation and timely, accurate submission of required paperwork.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience in Law Enforcement preferred.
  • Sufficient educational background and/or experience to meet instructional demands.
  • Ability to develop and teach curriculum.
  • Self-starter, team-oriented, comfortable with public speaking.
  • Experience with online/hybrid teaching and learner-centered pedagogical practices.
  • Access to personal technology and home computer suitable for online teaching.

This position is paid via stipends per course. A pre-employment background check is required at the college’s expense.
