Qualifications

• Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience: Master’s degree and 2 years of professional experience; ABD or PhD in a related discipline.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to teach about American Congress and know American government and political institutions; able to guide and support coursework; prior teaching experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: ABD or PhD in Political Science or related discipline; teaching certification and/or experience with advanced students.

Responsabilités

• Teaching: Deliver in-class instruction on Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:10-3:30 for POLT 505.
• Office Hours: Offer 1-2 hours per week for student meetings outside class time.
• Misc administrative: Prepare syllabus, coordinate books with the bookstore, maintain Canvas, grade, and respond to emails.
