Ivy Tech Community College – South Bend invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach Accounting courses (ACCT 101 and ACCT 102). The role involves delivering classes, developing course materials, maintaining records, and fostering student engagement in a supportive learning environment at the Ivy Tech South Bend campus.
This is a part-time, per-contract-hour position with opportunities to contribute to student success.
Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis to provide instruction, support student learning, and deliver assigned Accounting courses in accordance with Ivy Tech policies and common course syllabi.

All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
A qualified faculty member for ACCT 101 and ACCT 102 meets the course standard through one of two routes:
Possesses an earned Bachelor's degree in a related business field from a regionally accredited institution with an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction and meet faculty credentials as outlined in the ASOM 7.1 for the specific area(s) of instruction. Conducts all activities with an appreciation, respect, and promotion of diversity of people, styles, and views.
