Adjunct Faculty-Gen Ed Medical Assistant - CMME Education

Pay: $25.11-$31.39

Responsibilities

Adjunct medical assistant faculty teach in MCHP’s General Education programs and provide exemplary student support. Adjunct faculty are expected to use a variety of instructional methods and modalities (e.g., online, face-to-face, hybrid), have experience and comfort with academic technology, and be willing to innovate. The adjunct faculty is tasked with creating effective student learning experiences that support success. Appointments are made on a course-by-course basis and are contingent upon enrollment and program needs.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
• Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience working as a Medical Assistant
• Preferred - Successful record or working with students, faculty, and staff in higher education environments
• Preferred – Demonstrated teaching competence

Pay Transparency

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $25.11 to $31.39. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
