Job Summary

Adjunct faculty are hired to fulfill responsibilities specified in their letter of appointment. Unless otherwise specified, the workload consists solely of instruction. All faculty are expected to engage in effective teaching and assessment of student learning.

Benefits

• Faculty eligibility rules are complex and depend on the nature of the appointment. Faculty with a quarter‑to‑quarter or semester‑to‑semester appointment who are in an EWU paid appointment of at least 50 percent or more are eligible for PEBB insurance on the first day of the month following the start of their second consecutive academic term.
