Primary Purpose of Position

To teach courses in First‑Year English Composition and/or Technical Writing for Project Kitty Hawk.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • English Adjunct faculty with emphasis on classroom management and service to the department.
  • Computer knowledge and willingness to train is mandatory.
  • Use of University tools such as Canvas is required.
  • Strong communication skills with students.
  • M.A. in English or related field. Experience teaching online.
Licenses or Certification
  • Applicant must hold an M.A. degree with a minimum of 18 credit hours in English.
