Job summary

The Los Rios Community College District is seeking qualified candidates for a part-time Adjunct faculty position in the Electrical Training program. The adjunct will teach assigned classes under the supervision of the area dean and help students reach mastery of course content while maintaining up-to-date knowledge and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; six years related experience may substitute.
• Two years of professional experience if using a degree.
• Equivalency for the discipline must be verified if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes under area dean supervision.
• Help students maximize potential and master course content.
• Assess student learning outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in teaching field.
• Engage in professional development and use current technology.
• Maintain professional conduct and ethics.
• Assist with articulation and curriculum development/review.
