Job summary

Oakland Community College seeks Adjunct Faculty Instructors to teach Electrical Wiring courses across day and evening offerings. Applicants may qualify via high school diploma with extensive industry experience and Journeyman’s Card, or via an associate's/bachelor's degree with corresponding experience and licensure.

Adjuncts are hired on an as-needed basis and paid $1,000 per instructional credit hour. Employment through Edustaff; transcripts due within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 8+ years of industry experience and Journeyman’s Card.
• Associate’s degree in electrical engineering technology or related field with 4+ years of industry experience and Journeyman’s Card.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field with 2+ years of industry experience and Journeyman’s Card.

Responsibilities

• Teach anticipated day and/or evening Electrical Wiring courses.
• Adjuncts are required to maintain and/or provide licensure and certifications.

Primary responsibility will be to teach anticipated day and/or evening Electrical Wiring courses, which range from basic to advanced skill levels. Where applicable, adjuncts are required to maintain and/or provide licensure and certifications.

Salary
