Job summary

The University of La Verne seeks adjunct instructors for the Master of Arts in Teaching, Education Specialist Credential Program. Courses will be taught to special education candidates across Main Campus, Newhall, and Bakersfield.

Applicants should hold a Master’s in Education, a current Clear CA teaching credential with English Learner and Autism Authorization, and at least three years of teaching experience. Diversity experience is strongly valued; positions are paid as adjunct faculty.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education is required.
• Current Clear CA teaching credential (Mild Moderate Disabilities) with English Learner and Autism Authorization.
• Commitment to and experience working with diverse student populations, including English learners.
• Minimum of 3 years of successful elementary or secondary teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate teacher education courses for special education candidates at Main Campus, Newhall, and Bakersfield.
