Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or related field required.
• Earned doctorate in education or related field preferred.
• Licensure or classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated engagement in scholarship related to teaching.
• Master teacher status or strong teaching reputation preferred.
• Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learners.
• Proficiency with educational technology for teaching and learning.
• Ability to collaborate across campus and school partners.

Responsibilities

• Models best professional practices in teaching (85%).
• Develops syllabi and activities meeting course descriptions and standards.
• Plans and delivers class sessions according to syllabus and university requirements.
• Maintains records of student participation and grades.
• Evaluates teacher candidates' performance against program assessments.
• Incorporates diversity and technology throughout coursework and field experiences.
• Performs other related duties as assigned (5%).
• Participates effectively as a team member and supports seasonal peaks.

Education
