The Community College of Allegheny County is seeking an Adjunct Diagnostic Medical Sonography faculty member to teach and develop curriculum across the College-wide program. The position is part-time with daytime hours aligned to class schedules and department needs.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in education or science, current ARDMS registration in AB, OB/GYN, AE, VT or BR, and at least two years of full-time sonography experience within the last five years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in education, science or related field.
• Current ARDMS registration in AB, OB/GYN, Adult Echocardiography, Vascular or Breast.
• Minimum two years full-time experience as a registered sonographer within the last five years.
• Willing to coordinate clinical education with didactic education and evaluate affiliate centers.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop the curriculum for the program.
• Prepare course outlines and learning objectives.
• Assess student performance and maintain grade records.
• Create effective learning environments using diverse instructional methods.
• Collaborate on program reviews and curriculum revisions.
• Coordinate clinical education with didactic components as assigned.
• Participate in department meetings and college-wide committees.
• Support the college's goals and participate in related projects.
