Savannah Technical College is seeking part-time Cosmetology and Nail Technology instructors to join our programs at Savannah and Effingham campuses. You will teach the state-approved curriculum, foster effective learning in classroom and lab settings, evaluate student progress, and maintain required documentation.

A valid Georgia Nail Technology or Master Cosmetologist license, a high school diploma, and at least three years of full-time experience in the past seven years are required; the role

  • Active Georgia Nail Technology and/or Master Cosmetologist license in good standing.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Teach the state-approved cosmetology and/or nail technology curriculum to enrolled students.
  • Foster effective learning in classroom and lab settings.
  • Evaluate students’ progress and record outcomes.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation and administrative reports.
  • Ensure safety in the classroom and laboratory.
  • Assist with placement of program graduates.
  • Maintain rapport with business, industry, and the public sector.
