Job summary

Utica University invites applications for adjunct instructors to teach CMM 101, CMM 103, and CMM 181 in the School of Arts and Sciences. Adjuncts will design engaging, accessible content, assess student performance, and support diverse learners in a private, student-centered environment.

Requirements include a BA in a related field with relevant experience; a MA in a related field is preferred. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Master's degree in related field preferred.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Must have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach CMM 101 - Interpersonal Communication, designing engaging content and assessing student work.
• Teach CMM 103 - Introduction to Public Speaking, guiding topic selection, research, and delivery.
• Teach CMM 181 - Introduction to Mass Communication, fostering critical media literacy and discussion.
