Job Summary

The Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering (CAEE) at Drexel University invites applications for adjunct appointments to teach courses in core CAEE science and engineering courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. Typical courses that fall into this category include but are not limited to topics such as Engineering Economic Analysis; Hydraulics; Geographic Information Systems; Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering Design.

Essential Functions

  • Presenting lectures and holding class sessions.
  • Scheduling and holding office hours.
  • Evaluating student performance using a variety of assessments.
  • Submission of grades and rectifying grade issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, Architectural, Environmental Engineering or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years in experience in teaching or industry preferred, but not required.
