Job summary

Galen College of Nursing is seeking adjunct nursing faculty—clinical—to educate and mentor nursing students in clinical and classroom settings. The role emphasizes facilitating learning, developing and evaluating PSLO-aligned activities, and supporting program outcomes within a dynamic educational environment.

The position requires an active RN license and an MSN degree, with BSN considered based on campus needs.

Qualifications

• Active, current, unencumbered RN licensure as required by the State Board of Nursing.
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required; BSN may be considered depending on campus needs.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical RN experience as required by the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning and learner development across classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
• Use assessment and evaluation strategies to measure learner outcomes.
• Participate in curriculum development, implementation and evaluation; review program outcomes.
• Engage in scholarship and professional development activities.
• Demonstrate leadership and act as a change agent within the educational environment.
• Maintain professional practice knowledge related to contemporary nursing practice.
