Bowie State University seeks an Adjunct Faculty member in Chemistry to teach undergraduate coursework and the associated lab components within the BSU Natural Sciences, JM department. The position is temporary (fixed term) with open date 01-06-2026.

The appointment requires a master's degree or higher with specialized chemistry coursework or doctoral studies, plus teaching experience at college or high school level.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemistry or higher with specialization in Organic, Analytical, Biochemistry, Inorganic or Physical Chemistry.
• Completion of 30 hours in an accredited doctoral program is acceptable.
• Teaching experience at college or high school level in the area of concentration.

Responsibilities

• Teaches undergraduate level coursework and the associated lab components.
• Responsibilities are subject to amendment to meet organizational needs.
