Job summary

Augsburg University is seeking adjunct chemistry faculty to teach undergraduate chemistry courses on our Minneapolis campus. This pool will be used for Fall 2026 or Spring 2027; most classes are 2–3 days per week and taught in person.

Instructors will teach, grade, hold office hours, and communicate with the course coordinator. The successful candidate will demonstrate intercultural competence and inclusive teaching practices.

Qualifications

• Master's in Chemistry with professional experience.
• PhD in Chemistry preferred.
• Teaching experience at the undergraduate level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate chemistry courses.
• Grade student work and respond to questions via email.
• Hold regular office hours and communicate with the course coordinator.
