Job summary

Grand Canyon University is seeking adjunct faculty to teach part-time, in-person courses at the Phoenix campus for the Spring Semester 2027. The role centers on delivering Case Management and Crisis Intervention Skills for Addiction and Substance use, with small class sizes and a collaborative teaching environment.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in a relevant field and current licensure (LPC, LCD, or LMFT) and have at least two years of clinical addiction experience.

Qualifications

• Adjunct instructors must deliver high quality instruction in a modern classroom.
• Experience teaching in higher education is preferred.
• Ability to support student growth academically and ethically.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
