Job summary

The Adjunct Associate Professor will teach in the pre-clinical curriculum of the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program at UNT Health Fort Worth, delivering large group sessions, small group discussions, case-based learning, and hands-on skills labs. The assignment includes supporting admissions for new DO students.

Minimum qualifications include a DO or MD degree and demonstrated teaching experience. Board certification or eligibility and Texas licensure are required.

Qualifications

• DO or MD degree required.
• Experience teaching in the curricular topic assigned.
• Eligibility for Texas license to practice medicine.
• Board certified or board eligible in a specialty relevant to the content taught.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in assigned pre-clinical course(s) through large group, small group, and/or clinical skills or laboratory sessions.
• Assess student performance (e.g., assessment items, rubrics, skills checks) and provide timely feedback to students.
• Serve on Admissions Committee.
