You will make an impact by:

1. Providing professional leadership and support, serving as an educator, role model, mentor, and fostering an educational environment that promotes innovation, responsiveness, and accountability.
2. Regularly contributing to the improvement or upgrading of class materials and syllabi using identified University processes.
3. Utilizing a variety of teaching methodologies to instruct students, with the goal of facilitating observable evidence of student achievement of learning outcomes.
4. Demonstrating enthusiasm for teaching and the learning process, and for supporting individual students.
5. Assisting with curriculum assessment, critique, and evaluation, and leading revisions to programs and syllabi if necessary, while ensuring quality.

Your Experience Includes:

1. 0-4 years of teaching experience in a University or College setting, or previous rank of assistant professor awarded by a regionally accredited institution.
2. Teaching experience in Physician Assistant courses and a research interest in evidence-based clinical research is strongly preferred.
3. Experience with online learning management systems to enhance student engagement is desirable.
4. Documented 3 years of experience as a practicing clinician.

Education:

1. Must have a documented background in educational methodology relevant to teaching assignments, including education theory and practice, clinical practice experience, or distance education techniques.
2. Terminal academic degree required (Master's degree), doctorate preferred.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

1. NCCPA certified Physician Assistant or Board certified (or eligible).
2. PA license (or eligible), or MD / DO licensed or eligible for licensure.

Salary Range: USD $53.01 - USD $76.86 / Hr. Outside CA Salary Range: USD $46.55 - USD $67.51 / Hr.
