Jefferson College invites applications for Adjunct - Art. Adjunct faculty are contracted for the duration of the teaching assignment, typically not exceeding 18 semester hours per academic year August–May. The position is part-time and pays $690 per credit hour.
Responsibilities include preparing syllabi, delivering courses, maintaining records, and supporting student learning. A Master’s degree in the subject or an equivalent vocational credential is required; exceptions may be considered by

Adjunct Faculty are employed for the duration of the teaching assignment as specified in the contract, and employment beyond the termination date specified in the contract is neither expressed nor implied. Adjunct teaching assignments will not exceed 18 semester hours in an academic year (August through May). The President will make exceptions as necessary.
Master’s degree in the subject matter field for assignments in transfer programs or hold a valid vocational certificate for assignments in vocational-technical programs.
