Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Anthropology from a regionally accredited college/university with at least 18 graduate hours in the Anthropology teaching field.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and teach classes as assigned and as outlined in course descriptions and syllabi.
  • Supervise the study and learning activities of students.
  • Submit requests for equipment, supplies, textbooks, and instructional aids through the department head or lead teacher.
  • Evaluate the academic progress of students.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of services, regulations, and procedures as defined in the Adjunct Faculty Handbook.
  • Submit course grades and perform other administrative duties as required.
  • Schedule two office hours or submit a written plan to the Dean if office hours cannot be scheduled; office hours are not paid during summer session.

Education

Master’s degree or higher in Anthropology
At least 18 graduate semester hours in Anthropology teaching field
