• Bachelor's degree or higher with two years of professional experience, or an associate degree with six years of professional experience.
• Sensitivity to and understanding of diverse backgrounds including socio-economic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds (AB 1725, 87360a).

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in accordance with Imperial Valley College curriculum and course outlines and as assigned based on class needs.
• Assignments based on availability of classes, seniority, and qualifications; includes class preparation, student evaluation, syllabus development, and learning outcomes assessment.
• Maintain and submit accurate records by deadlines (grades, syllabi, attendance).
• Uphold standards of professional conduct and ethics appropriate to the position.
• Advise students on academic matters.
• Maintain competency in the field.
