Job description

Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in curriculum development and the review and maintenance of course objectives and syllabi.
  2. Prepare medical imaging content using a variety of teaching strategies to effectively deliver course material.
  3. Assess student learning and provide academic advising.
  4. Demonstrate expertise and comprehensive knowledge of the course content.
  5. Actively engage students through frequent interactions and convey enthusiasm for their learning.
  6. Provide thorough and constructive feedback, utilizing rubrics to assess learners' work and acknowledge their accomplishments.
  7. Prepare medical imaging students for licensure examinations.
  8. Engage in ongoing professional development in scholarship, teaching, and continuing education.
Work Environment:

Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. The role requires satisfying all job-specific obligations and complying with organizational policies and procedures. Qualifications and Experience:

In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 5 years of relevant experience plus an associate’s degree will be considered equivalent. Alternatively, in lieu of an associate's degree, 8 years of relevant experience plus a certificate from a radiology technology training program are also acceptable.

Certifications:
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with at least one of the following specialties:
    • ARRT M
    • ARRT CT
    • ARRT MRI
    • ARRT CV, VI, or CI
    • ARRT S
    • ARRT VS
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) with at least one of the following specialties:
    • ABD
    • OB/GYN
  • Additional specialty registries include:
    • RVT
    • RDCS
