Albany Technical College seeks a well-qualified Addiction and Substance Abuse Counseling instructor. The adjunct instructor will teach addiction and substance abuse courses at diploma and associate degree levels, offered day, evening, and online.

Superior communication, basic computer skills, and familiarity with online learning platforms are required. This position requires a Master’s degree in Counseling or Psychology or related field, plus significant graduate coursework in both counseling

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling or Psychology or related field required.
• Must have completed 18 graduate semester hours in counseling.
• Must have completed 18 graduate semester hours in psychology.

Responsibilities

• Teach addiction and substance abuse courses at diploma and associate degree levels.
• Teach day, evening, and online courses under supervision.
• Possess strong oral and written communication and familiarity with online instructional delivery.
