Job summary

Millersville University is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Accounting Instructor to teach in-person undergraduate courses in the Department of Accounting and Finance.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Accounting (or related field) and professional certification such as CPA/CMA/CFE, with strong communication skills and a commitment to inclusive teaching. Prior teaching experience is preferred, and scholarship/service is expected alongside instruction.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• MBA, JD or other Master’s level business degree must have a relevant professional certification and business experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person undergraduate accounting courses and deliver lectures.
• Create assessments and course materials; develop syllabi and lesson plans.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment and support student success.
• Assist with scholarship and service activities commensurate with the assignment.
• Administer grading, record-keeping, and advising duties for students.
