Job summary

Henkel's Adhesive Technologies unit is hiring a manufacturing operator in Warren, MI. You will load, process raw materials, package products, and maintain clean, safe work areas according to 5S standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, comfort with safety rules and OSHA standards, and occasional overtime or shift changes. The job offers health insurance, PTO, 401(k) matching, and performance bonuses. Hourly pay is $25.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Chemical handling experience preferred or a minimum of 2 years related manufacturing experience.
• Strong commitment to safety systems and OSHA required standards.
• Flexibility to work overtime, extended shifts and/or other shifts on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, load, and process raw materials and batches according to detailed work instructions.
• Package finished products, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure proper chemical identification and labeling.
• Follow all safety policies, wear required PPE, and adhere to established waste disposal procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards and communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
• Operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment and manually lift 50 lb. bags for extended periods.
