Job summary

Carlisle Construction Materials is seeking a Controller I – Adhesives in Carlisle, PA, with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote). You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to drive profitability and influence strategic decisions.

The role emphasizes financial planning, cost control, and data-driven improvements to plant performance, with collaboration across multiple teams and COS initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, inventory accounting, or operations finance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and standard costing.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly financial results, KPIs, and variance analyses.
• Lead monthly forecasting and support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Develop financial models to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve plant performance and profitability.
• Analyze variances and communicate key cost drivers.
• Maintain standard costs, BOMs, routings, and inventory valuation.
• Monitor KPIs such as efficiency, yield, scrap, productivity, and inventory turns.
• Support inventory controls and physical inventory processes.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Plant Leadership.
• Provide financial guidance for improvement projects.
