Job summary

A leading supplier of iron castings is seeking a candidate for technical support in 3D printing, responsible for creating models, supporting the plant's needs, and organizing technical files. Ability to provide technical support regarding 3D printing, techniques, and troubleshooting in both SLA & FDM Printing. Ability to learn CAD basics to model simple components for 3D printing to support the plant’s needs with alternative materials and parts. Track and implement 3D printing savings on a weekly basis.

• Develop basic 3-D models from sketches and produce 2-D drawings, to be used for 3-D printing.
• Maintain organization of technical and tooling files on the shared drive.
• Operate 3-D printers and inventory control system for printed components that are part specific (de-finners, fixtures, gating, risers, etc.).
