Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Supervise personnel, including training, mentoring, coaching, and performance monitoring.
  • Lead safety initiatives and address safety concerns as they arise.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  • Lead daily stand-up meetings and review safety, quality, and productivity trends.
  • Develop training materials and conduct on‑the‑job training; ensure compliance.
  • Lead 5S activities and optimize AM workflow for quality and throughput.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve AM machines following standardized processes.
  • Document processes, promote traceability, and report defects to engineering.
  • Manage materials, consumables, and related purchasing activities; ensure PPE compliance.
  • Identify JHA shortcomings and contribute to safety program enhancements.

This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will supervise a team of technicians working to produce additively manufactured hardware in support of Blue Origin’s launch vehicle and spaceflight programs. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of additively manufactured spaceflight and supporting hardware, continuous improvement, automation, and process development.
