Job summary

NCDMM, operating the America Makes program in Mentor, OH, seeks a Manufacturing Research Engineer to advance adaptive and additive manufacturing supply chains. You will facilitate workshops, document technical data, and prepare manuscripts and reports while engaging with diverse stakeholders.

The role requires strong communication, project leadership, and a solid background in AM technologies, with experience coordinating across teams and technical communities to advance manufacturing readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in additive manufacturing or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience managing technical projects or programs.
• Experience leading diverse/multi-disciplinary teams.
• Working knowledge of AM technologies and manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate meetings and workshops.
• Document technical details, analyze data, and summarize information.
• Support or lead drafting of manuscripts, reports, and presentations.
• Public speaking for programmatic and technical information.
• Maintain understanding of America Makes program and its pillars.
• Develop plans and schedules for program goals.
