Job summary

Moog invites a summer 2027 intern to join the Additive Manufacturing Engineering team within the Space & Defense Group. The role is full-time and onsite in East Aurora, NY, with an emphasis on supporting engineering tasks and data-driven analysis.

The candidate will contribute to material property evaluations, product and project engineering, and may operate a 3-D printer. Relocation and access to export-controlled information are required, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering program (Bachelor's or Master's).
• GPA of at least 3.0; department may specify the exact GPA.
• This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and execution of key engineering tasks.
• Provide technical support to engineers as needed.
• Perform data collection, management, and analysis where applicable.
• Evaluate material properties and participate in product/project engineering.
• Operate a 3-D printer as appropriate to the student’s discipline.
• Contribute input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
