Apple Inc. in Austin, Texas is seeking an MDE - Additive Manufacturing CAD Engineer to drive the end-to-end CAD file lifecycle for additive manufacturing.

The role centers on creating and modifying CAD models and 2D drawings, ensuring printability, and coordinating file sharing across manufacturing, product design, and vendor bases using Siemens NX and Teamcenter. You will translate design requests into robust manufacturable CAD files, review DFAM constraints, and drive print yield improvements

Competenze

• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Strong grasp of CAD software, specifically Siemens NX.
• Deep understanding of additive manufacturing and 3D printing technologies.
• Ability to evaluate part printability and develop robust support structures.
• Proficiency in secure file transferring methods and PLM (Teamcenter).
• Ability to translate concepts from product design engineers into manufacturable CAD files.
