About the Role:

If you recently applied, here is another change to become part of our very busy, fast paced office..We are seeking to add an additional friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team at Red River ENT in Alexandria, LA. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk. The position is daily, Monday - Friday from 8AM - 5PM or later on some days. You must be available everyday. We are not looking for a part-time or an occasional employee. Strong communication, interpersonal abilities, and customer service are crucial, while hard skills include proficiency in computer software and multitasking. Other key skills include time management, problem-solving, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients upon arrival

Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner

Schedule appointments and update patient information in the system

Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays

Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role is preferred but not required

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in using office equipment and computer systems

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Professional and courteous demeanor at all times
