Davis Archway seeks a compassionate Counselor to provide clinical support at our halfway house in Butler, PA. You will conduct individual and group counseling, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help clients on their path to recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Certification or State licensure as a Substance Abuse Counselor preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in substance abuse counseling, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of addiction theory, counseling techniques, and treatment modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build therapeutic relationships.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethics governing practice.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Counselor to join our team at our halfway house location in Butler, PA. In this role, you will provide clinical support to individuals in early recovery, facilitating both individual and group counseling sessions, developing treatment plans, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to help each client build a path to long-term recovery. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and formulate diagnostic impressions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
• Facilitate evidence-based group and individual therapy sessions
• Educate and support families as part of the treatment process
• Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards
• Coordinate care with physicians, case managers, peer specialists, and other treatment team members
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and quality improvement efforts

• Certification or State licensure as a Substance Abuse Counselor (LPC, LCSW, LCADC, etc.) preferred.

Compensation: $60,000 to $75,000 per year
