Job summary

COBB OUTPATIENT DETOX LLC in Macon, GA seeks a licensed therapist to provide individual and group therapy for clients with chemical dependency. The role includes family education, crisis intervention, and collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and maintaining accurate records to support treatment outcomes. A Bachelor's in addictions or counseling is required, with a Master’s preferred and GA licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in addictions or counseling with at least 3 years in addiction treatment.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensed in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy, group therapy, and family education and/or counseling as well as crisis intervention as needed.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessment and other clinical evaluations; evaluate functioning across work, school, family, relationships, self-management and daily living.
• Maintain client records for screening, intake, treatment, progress, discharge and outcomes.
• Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Coordinate with medical, psychiatric and clinical staff to tailor treatment.
• Facilitate discharge planning, aftercare planning and follow-up.
• Attend staff meetings and shifts as scheduled (day/evening/weekend).
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/Clinical Director.
