Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of clinical experience in addiction medicine or addiction psychiatry.
• Master’s Degree in advanced practice nursing is required.
• PMHNP board certification required.
• Current PNP license and DEA Certification required.
• DEA DATA waiver to prescribe buprenorphine (within 30 days of hire) and buprenorphine certification at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose mental disorders in referred individuals and provide consultations.
• Provide psychiatric medical expertise in assessment and treatment of mental disorders.
• Supervise outpatient detox procedures and liaise with medical staff; educate patients, families and staff.
