About the clinician's workday

The schedule offers flexibility, with options such as 7 on/7 off, 14 on/14 off, or weekly shifts. Providers will work 45 hours per day, totaling 2024 hours per week, with no call responsibilities. The patient population is general adult (ages 18+), primarily focused on substance use disorder (SUD) cases. The facility has 50 beds, with the provider rounding on 810 patients daily. The average length of stay is 45 weeks, and the current census ranges from 30 to 40 patients. An EMR system is expected to be in place by July; until then, documentation is handwritten. The provider will work alongside a multidisciplinary team that includes RNs, social workers, therapists, and nurse practitioners. The credentialing timeframe is 2-3 weeks.
