North Star Behavioral Health in Anchorage, Alaska, invites an Adult Addiction/Substance-Use Disorder Psychiatrist to join our established behavioral health team. Remote options available.

We offer a combination of inpatient, PHP/IOP programs, with flexible scheduling, team-based care, and potential leadership opportunities. Compensation is competitive; full- or part-time arrangements and relocation assistance are available.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• BE/BC in Psychiatry through ABPN.
• 1+ year's previous full-time Inpatient Telehealth experience strongly preferred.
• Alaska Physician/Medical License, in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Manage treatment plans and medication regimens.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
• Complete documentation and discharge planning.
• Provide ongoing care for assigned patients.
