Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in the State of AK or ability to obtain an AK medical license.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial psychiatric evaluations, assessments, discharges, patient documentation.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and provide daily care to assigned patients.
• Mentor medical students, psychiatry residents, and fellows.

Details

• Position: Adult Addiction Psychiatrist + Service Line Directorship (optional).
• Setting: Mostly inpatient with optional available OP, PHP, or RTC volume available if interested.
• Focus on patients: Complete initial psychiatric evaluations, assessments, discharges, patient documentation, treatment team meetings, and daily care of assigned patients.
• Setting: Mostly inpatient with optional available OP, PHP, or RTC volume available if interested.
• Flexible scheduling options: Open to variations of block scheduling or Monday-Friday.
• Minimal call/weekend coverage: 1:5 Saturday/Sunday rounding and once per week evening call (phone only).

Required Education, Training, and Licensure
