Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Danvers, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse for Addiction Medicine on the 7pm-7am overnight shift. The detox unit provides 24-hour nursing care as patients withdraw from alcohol or drugs, with medical and emotional support during this critical recovery stage. Required MA RN licensure and CPR certification.

Experience in addiction treatment is preferred. The role includes patient assessment, medication administration, record-keeping, and collaboration with the treatment

Qualifications

• Valid and current Massachusetts licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Current certification in CPR
• Experience with addiction treatment services preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Records and reports observed symptoms and changes in patients safety status.
• Collaborates with team in providing health information and maintains patients medical records.
• Responds to patient care needs/issues and assists patients with activities of daily living, promoting a positive therapeutic environment.
• Assists with the admitting, discharge and transfer process.
• Participates in treatment team meetings & assists with development of care plans.
• Administers medications to patients.
