Wellbridge is seeking a Physician Assistant per diem in Calverton, NY. The role involves on-site patient assessment, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and contributing to treatment plan development on a day-to-day basis.

The ideal candidate holds a NY PA license, with NCCPA certification preferred, and BLS required. ACLS or equivalent may be required by the department, with certifications completed within a month of employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies required; MA preferred.
• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York State required; NCCPA certification preferred.
• BLS required. ACLS or other certification as required by department; certifications must be obtained within one month of employment.
• Demonstrate an understanding of clinical risk; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Clinical experience providing treatment for addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders in an inpatient or residential environment.

Responsabilités

• Assess and treat Wellbridge patients with guidance from an interdisciplinary team.
• Develop personalized treatment plans for each patient in collaboration with the care team.
• Promote innovation and integration of research and education across staff.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of addiction care treatments and best practices.
• Collaborate with research teams to improve measurement-based care systems.
