Asheville Detox Center seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our medical team in Asheville, NC. You will assess medical and mental health needs, develop individualized care plans, and manage detox and MAT protocols for patients with addiction disorders.

Required NP/PA licensure, experience in addiction medicine or psychiatry, knowledge of MAT, and DEA registration with X-Waiver. You will collaborate with therapists and maintain HIPAA-compliant records while delivering

Qualifications

• Valid NP or PA license.
• Experience in addiction medicine or psychiatry preferred.
• Knowledge of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and addiction treatment modalities.
• DEA registration and X-Waiver.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct detailed patient assessments including medical history, examinations, and mental health evaluations.
• Collaborate with treatment team to develop individualized care plans and MAT-based interventions.
• Prescribe and manage medications for addiction and other conditions; monitor efficacy and side effects.
• Provide education and counseling on substance abuse, health maintenance, and disease prevention.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA and healthcare laws.
