Job summary

The Division of Addiction Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine seeks candidates for multiple full-time faculty positions in Addiction Medicine on the Academic Clinician track.

Requirements include an MD or DO and ABMS/AOA board certification in Addiction Medicine, with experience in hospital-based addiction medicine consultation and care for underserved populations. Teaching and clinical leadership opportunities are available across Penn Medicine facilities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with primary board in ABMS or AOA Specialty.
• Board certification in Addiction Medicine required or equivalent.
• Experience in hospital-based addiction medicine consultation and in underserved patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Involve education and supervision of residents, fellows, and medical students in inpatient, consultative, ambulatory, and Bridge/OTP settings.
• Participate in inpatient Addiction Medicine consult services at Penn Medicine hospitals.
• Provide clinical care across Penn Medicine-affiliated settings including ambulatory and hospital-based addiction treatment.
• Possibly lead educational development and program initiatives for the division.
